Deryn Relph is a textile designer, with a love of colour, pattern and
texture. A
recent Winchester School of Art graduate, Deryn uses knitted textiles to create an innovative
range of interior products with a retro,
yet contemporary feel. Her work evokes a nostalgic happiness,
embracing the power of colour as asustainable design solution, often
giving new life to discarded items.
Furniture Magpies is a furniture ‘design and make’ company offering an alternative to mass-produced products, specialising in regenerating old furniture to meet the requirements of the modern consumer. It creates one-off and limited edition pieces, breathing new life into otherwise unwanted items.
Jill Ford makes beautiful contemporary porcelain thrown bowls and vases. Her landscape range is inspired bya copse of silver birches that grow on the river bank close to Jill’s rural studio.
In her ceramic works Jude enjoys playing with the idea of functionality vs ornament using recognisable images to bring humour and questions quite literally to the table.
