CERAMICs

  • zeita scott

Zeita is concerned with stimulating creativity in the use of everyday objects, encouraging people to use pieces 'shuffled' in with others.  The abilty for the handmade to co-exist with the industrial is key. The colourful, playful nature of the work serves to break down some of the barriers between people and their day-to-day objects.  This particular work was inspired by the Japanese modular tableware coupled with the intensely vibrante colour palette of New Oreleans architecture.

Zeita studied her MA at the Royal College of Art and is a regular lecturer at universities across the UK.
