Elizabeth's paintings are of an abstract nature, the plasticity of the paint and colour being of prime importance to her.  Working in acrylics on several paintings simultaneously she builds layer upon layer, establishing a history within each painting.  At a certain stage she recognises the memory of a space, of an event, an emotion, a landscape, possibly even a conversation, at which point she ceases painting. It may simply be that the colour feels right.

Elizabeth studied at Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design and New Richmond School of Art. She exhibits her work regularly.
