DECORATION
First inspired during her time at the Royal College of Art,
Deborah Bowness creates hand and digitally printed personalised
wallpaper.
In her work she incorporates photographic imagery of objects
such as clothes or furniture. While her imagery is very much
fixed in the everyday, it's heavily manipulated.
Her largely monochrome wallpaper features selected areas
screen-printed in colour.
Deborah produces site-specific commissions, limited edition
prints and has a readymade wallpaper collection. You can choose
from a range of fifties style frocks, standard lamps, fake
frames, chandeliers, phoney phones, clocks and old-fashioned
bird cages.
Deborah has won a number of awards for her work (Peugot Design
Awards) and 'Hooks & Frocks', Debs' most renowned piece is
included in the V&A's print collection.
A limited edition of fifties frock wallpapers were recently
chosen by Selfridges, London as a backdrop to a new collection
during London Fashion Week.
Prices are dependent on the nature and size of the work.
