Andrew's work explores mixing traditional aesthetics with contemporary design. His ‘Silhouette’ wall plate collection is a series of Bone-China plates which have been pierced through with still life silhouettes of romantic imagery. Andrew drew inspiration from the Victorian era where plates were seen as items of decoration and hung on walls.

Andrew’s collections of ceramic design include ‘Flock’, a bone china collection which again combines traditional imagery with contemporary form.

In 2005 Andrew was awarded ‘Young Designer of the Year’ whilst also winning other accolades for his working practice including ‘Best Decorative Product Award’ and short-listed for the Eureka design prize.
