CERAMICS
Alice's interest in clay started at the early age of eight at a Saturday morning kid’s club. She went on to do her degree in workshop ceramics at Harrow College and later embarked on a Masters at the Royal College of Art.
The main inspiration for Alice's work is her local environment and the everyday, mundane experiences that occur within it. She walks around armed with her camera ready to catalogue these experiences so that she can incorporate them into her work.
She uses vivid imagery to create an almost utopian sense of place.
Alice's work has been shown at a prestigious exhibition held at Canary Wharfs' Canada Square foyer with nine other ceramic/glass artists. Alice also recently won the Queensbury Hunt award for most innovative use of ceramic
material.
